We have to have some rules - to make it fair

 

General Terms and Conditions

  • All places are not secured until fully paid for.

  • Registrations are non-transferable.

  • We charge a £50 cancellation fee for all bookings. In addition:

  • If cancellation occurs within two months of the course, half of the course fee is refunded

  • If cancellation occurs within a month of the course, none of the course fee is refunded.

We are sorry to be so strict but there are no exceptions to these rules. We are a small course and rely on full attendance.

Technical Requirements

  • PC or Mac. Please note mobile devices may not support breakout rooms or other Zoom functions.

  • Satisfactory internet connection

  • Download and install Zoom

  • Essential accessories:

    • Webcam for live interaction

    • Headset with microphone

    • Mouse

  • Please note that the Zoom invite starts earlier than the allocated time to allow us time to set up. We will let you in as soon as we are ready and appreciate your patience.

  • Please mute your microphone when joining the group sessions and only unmute when asked to do so.

This course is intended to simulate the exam environment; please ensure you attend the course with the appropriate IT equipment to maximize the experience.

Fees and Attendance

  • It is your responsibility to attend the course on time and we are not responsible for any problems with attendance due to e.g. industrial action, rota/on-call changes, transportation issues, or illness.

  • Course Fees do not include travel, accommodation, subsistence, insurance or other costs that might arise prior to or during the term of the Course.

  • You agree to follow all of the policies and regulations of the course and the hosting institution at all times.

  • We do not accept any liability for consequential costs from cancellation of the course from our side, although all course fees are refunded if this is the case.

YOUR Conduct

  • You are expected to conduct yourself in a professional manner and to recognise that other candidates also require support and assistance.

  • If a delegate becomes persistently disruptive we reserve the right to offer a verbal or written warning and, if this does not resolve the situation, we may, at our discretion, require the delegate to leave the course and we may exclude the delegate from our premises.

  • Under these circumstances the delegate should not expect any reimbursement for the course or any other losses they may have incurred.

Recording

Due to copyright, and to respect other delegates, the use of audio and/or visual recording is not permitted during any course.
